Karin Raven Steininger makes documentary films, writes books and can be found teaching Deep Ecology workshops all around Australia.

Paul Aylward engineers software, delves deep in alternative design and loves to cook up a storm.

When not in the forest, we’re in inner-city Sydney with our son Zack, and Cookie the wonder dog in a tall, thin house with an aquaponic garden on the roof.

Living wild at Die Happy is our dream to get close to nature, learn everything we can about its amazing ecosystem – we hope we have koalas here!

And build an off grid life.
